The LinkLens application does not upload, open or look up the URL you paste. The input is not added to this page's address or to a share link.
What the application stores
Input and results are held in page memory. The application does not save them in cookies, local storage, session storage or a database. Clear removes them from the tool; a reload starts blank. Browser extensions, clipboard managers, screen sharing and your device may still expose what you paste.
What loading this site sends
Your browser requests this website and its assets from the hosting service. That service necessarily receives connection details such as your IP address and request headers and may keep operational logs. Fonts and scripts are served with this site. We have not added analytics, advertising scripts or a remote inspection API.
Downloads
The optional JSON download is generated locally. It excludes every user-provided string, including the hostname, path, query parameter names and values, credentials, fragment and possible destination hosts. It retains generic observations, the scheme and counts. Your downloads folder keeps the file until you remove it.

Sources and publisher pages are ordinary external links. Following one contacts that website. Pasted addresses and extracted destinations are rendered as text, never clickable links. LinkLens does not send your pasted URL to any scanner.
